How do I pay for camp?

Register for the grade your child will enter in Fall 2018. A $150 deposit per camp is required at the time of registration. Camp balances will be auto debited from either your checking account or your credit card. You will be asked at the time of registration to supply the appropriate information to process an auto debit. The auto debit process will be run on Friday, May 11 2018, the summer camp payment deadline.

Camp fees under $150 must be paid in full at the time of registration. Wilmette Resident registration begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 6. Non-resident registration begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 13. You may register online or via fax, mail or in person. If you are registering via fax or mail, you must include credit card information on your registration form, along with a camp payment agreement. The registration fax number is 847-256-0739.

What is your refund policy?

We will refund 100% of the fee paid, any time prior to two weeks before the start of the program. Under two weeks of a program's start date, we will refund your fee paid, minus a 10% surcharge, up to a maximum of $75. After the start of a program, a prorated refund for the remaining classes will be issued, minus a 10% surcharge, with no maximum limit. This policy is strictly enforced to allow completion of camp preparations ranging from staff hiring, camper groupings and supply purchasing, to informational mailings. Can my child get an earlier start?

The Early Bird program begins at 8 a.m. and is available for most camps. In addition, an Extra Early Bird is offered beginning at 7 a.m. for Sports Camp and Junior Day Camp. This program is for pre-camp use only. Check under each camp listing for times and fees.

Can my child stay later?

The Wilmette Park District offers an After Camp Recreation program that meets each day after camp ends. Pickup time is 6 p.m. The program meets at the Community Recreation Center, 3000 Glenview Road, Wilmette. Tiny Tots, Discovery and Wiggleworms Camps have separate After Camp programs. Bus transportation is provided for campers in Great Gillson, Sports, Junior Day, Afternoon Adventure, Wiggleworms and Camp F.U.S.I.O.N. Check camp descriptions for complete information.

Are lunches available?

The Wilmette Park District partners with Kiddos Catering to provide lunch service to select camps. Food choices vary from several area restaurants. Lunches are delivered directly to your child's camp. A portion of the proceeds from this program will be donated to the Wilmette Park District Family Scholarship program. Will there be transportation from District 39 Summer Enrichment programs?

Limited bus service is offered for children who will be attending Afternoon Adventure, Junior Day, Great Gillson, Sports, or Arts in the Parks camp after participating in District 39's Summer Enrichment program. NOTE: Regardless of the time students leave the Summer Enrichment programs they will only be bused by North Shore Transit (contracted by District 39) to their camps at 11:35 a.m. or after Third Period classes.

If your camper attends the First or Second Period of Summer Enrichment you will be responsible for transporting your camper to camp. For more information contact District 39 Transportation Liaison, Michelle McGregor, at 847/512-6024.

If your camper is attending Summer Enrichment through the Third Period, you are eligible for a 10% discount on the camps listed above, excluding Afternoon Adventure Camp. Please contact the appropriate camp supervisors for the discounted camp fee.

Camp enrollments are limited, so please register early.
