It’s cold outside! The days are getting shorter, winter is on the way – time to hibernate, right? WRONG! It’s time to kick into gear and take on the Yeti Challenge in this season’s fitness competition at the Center Fitness Club.

Replacing the Holiday Hustle, the Yeti Challenge follows the same concept of a run-bike-exercise triathlon. Starting November 18 and ending December 31, participants will track their progress on scorecards at the CFC as they run or walk 26.2 miles, bike 112 miles and exercise for a total of 1000 minutes.

New this year, participants will have the opportunity to rack up multiple raffle prize entries as they reach certain milestones along the way to completing the challenge. Prizes will also be awarded for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place participants.

For the duration of the triathlon, the fitness club is offering new add-on packages for existing CFC members to maximize their Yeti Challenge potential. Gym members can tack on group fitness class access for an additional $30, or fitness class members can add gym access for $25. For more information contact Mark Underwood at

Registration is now open at the CFC front desk, and the challenge is open to everyone whether you are a CFC member or not! Fees for the Yeti Challenge are $20 for CFC members, and $65 for non-members.

Head on over to 3000 Glenview Rd. and get upstairs to the Center Fitness Club. Sign up today and challenge the Yeti this winter!
