Announcements: Tier 3 Mitigation

In compliance with state of Illinois Tier 3 Resurgence Mitigations effective Friday, November 20, 2020 all Fall II learn-to-skate and primetime freestyle ice programming is cancelled. Please see below for details regarding Late Fall refunds and alternate Tier 3 offerings.

Late Fall (Fall 2) Refund:

  • Classes and Primetime Freestyle - A refund will be issued back to the original form of payment for the remaining weeks of all Fall II programming.
  • LTS Skate Rentals - Participants who have rental skates will receive a separate email for return procedures and refunds.

Tier 3 Ice Offerings:

Within Tier 3 mitigation guidelines, Centennial Ice Rinks has the ability to offer individual training opportunities and private ice rentals.

Learn-to-Skate Private Lessons

  • Skaters in Tot I and up
    • 30-minute lesson. $30 per session

Freestyle Skate

One-on-One Private Hockey Ice Rental

  • Main Rink will be divided into 3 zones
    • $50 - Offensive Zone (1 Net)
    • $30 - Neutral Zone (No Net)
    • $50 - Defensive Zone (1 Net)
  • Studio Rink will be divided into 2 zones
    • $40 - 1/2 Ice (1 Net)
    • $80 - Full Sheet (2 Nets)
  • Reservations must be made online (link coming soon)
  • Parent/Child or Instructor/Student reservations only. A maximum of two participants are allowed in each zone reservation.

* Pre-registration is required for training reservations. Face coverings must be worn by all participants at all times indoors, unless wearing a full hockey face shield. Space is limited. Reservations are available through Sunday, December 6. Additional dates may become available on a weekly basis as we follow Tier 3 mitigation measures and Restore Illinois guidelines.

ISI Evaluation

Evaluations are offered before the end of each session. Instructors will determine whether a student is ready for evaluation one week prior to testing. Evaluation is optional for all students in Pre-Alpha through Freestyle VI. Tot Beginner, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced students receive a patch upon completion of their specific level as deemed by the instructors. Skaters ready to test will be notified by their class instructor or the Figure Skating Supervisor.
