The Flat Cats, based in Chicago, IL, play a range of vintage and modern music from standards of the big band swing era to contemporary classics, providing quality entertainment for all walks of life.  This group of six talented musicians has been together for over 15 years bringing their love of the music and audience engagement to the forefront.

The Flat Cats have performed at many different venues and events throughout the Midwest, most recently the Irish American Cultural center, Hey Nonny, and The Ritz Carlton downtown Chicago.  The band feels equally at home performing at concert venues, festival stages, weddings, and ballroom dance events.  Social swing dance events which oftentimes include a dance lesson prior to the show are another specialty!  Other types of events include roaring 20s parties, anniversaries, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, and corporate parties.
