The Wilmette Park District offers room and facility rentals at the Community Recreation Center, Centennial Recreation Complex, Lakeview Center, Mallinckrodt Center, Wallace Bowl and Wilmette Platform Tennis Club.

    Picnic & Pavilion Rentals

    Gillson Park hosts several open-air picnic areas throughout the park and one covered picnic pavilion adjacent to the swimming beach.

    • Wilmette Resident Reservations - picnic areas are available in advance for Wilmette Residents.
    • Non-Resident Reservations - picnic areas are available for Non-Residents to rent for day-of use. This can be completed in-person through the Lakeview Center until may 27 and at the Beach House starting May 28.

    Wallace Bowl Rentals

    Wallace Bowl is our open-air amphitheater located in Gillson Park. The space includes a stage surrounded on one side with rows of raised seating set in the lush and tranquil greenspace of the park. Our rental pricing for Wallace Bowl varies depending on the use. For rental opportunities, pricing and further information, please contact the Lakeview Center.

  • Lakeview Center Rentals

    Lakeview Center is located at 800 Gillson Park Dr., Wilmette

    Lakeview Center is set in the center of scenic Gillson Park. With views of the lake and the greenery of the park it offers a perfect setting for any special event.

    Additional Notes:

    • Chairs, along with your choice of long tables, round table, conference tables or card tables can be provided upon request.
    • There is a four hour minimum for evening and weekend rentals.
    • The applicant will be responsible for paying any fees for damages arising out of use of the facility.
    • A small kitchen adjacent to the Lakeview Room features an oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dual sinks, and counter space. We encourage caterers to visit the site before a party to become oriented to the space.
    • Full payment is due 2 weeks prior to the event
    • A $200 non-refundable security deposit is required to reserve the date.
    • Liquor Liability Insurance: $175

    LAKEVIEW ROOM

    The ambiance of the Center's Lakeview Room is enhanced by a fireplace and gleaming hardwood floors which create a perfect venue for weddings, family celebrations, company outings, holiday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, business seminars and classes.

    The Mallinckrodt Center is located in a historic 1916 building set amidst our own peaceful 14-acre Mallinckrodt Park in the heart of Wilmette. 1041A Ridge Rd., Wilmette.

    PADDLE HUT & COURTS

    Our platform tennis facility is available for rental. It's the perfect spot for your small gathering or paddle party! Rentals at the Platform Tennis Club include all six courts and the paddle hut for 4 hours.
