SPORTS CAMP
Grade 1-7 as of the 2022-2023 school year
Spend the summer enjoying a variety of sports activities and beach/pool time, for either a full day or half day. Activities for all campers include indoor/outdoor sports such as soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball, kickball, Wiffle ball, dodgeball, floor hockey, volleyball, Olympic events and other sports. Sports Camp groups are organized into three grade ranges: 1-2, 3-5 and 6-7. Our goal is to have separate groups for boys and girls in each division, but this is subject to camp registration. Sports Camp Location: Highcrest Elementary School

ARCHERY GAMES MINI-CAMPS
Grade 2-4 as of the 2022-23 school year
Participants will learn an excellent, nationally recognized beginner's 9-step to the 10-ring progression, which was created by the Coaches Development Committee of the National Archery Association. Archery helps participants' concentration and increases discipline. Campers engage in exciting drills and fun games in this camp; they also learn about archery history and equipment, archery characters in the movies and comics, Olympic archery, archery folk heroes, and other fun archery facts through interesting activities and discussions. We provide all the Recurve bows, blunt tipped arrows and targets. Please bring a labeled water bottle and face covering.

FIGURE SKATING
FIGURE SKATING CAMP
Grade 1-10 as of the 2022-23 school year
This is the perfect camp for a figure skater whether they are recreational or competitive.
We have scheduled Figure Skating Camp between freestyle sessions, so skaters can practice before or after camp. This encourages the skater to design a full day of instruction and practice. Participants learn from coaches who have training and expertise in each area of focus/skill set. Skaters must be in Basic 5 Ice Skating or above to participate in this camp.
In each 40-minute session, the skater rotates between each skill set:
1:10-1:50- Focus on jumps, spins and footwork/edges.
2:00-2:40- Focus on music interpretation, connecting footwork and fun tricks.
2:45-3:15- Off-ice training.

LACROSSE SKILLS MINI CAMP
Grade 2-4 as of the 2022-23 school year
Come play lacrosse--the fastest game on two feet--with us! In this mini-camp, players learn various lacrosse techniques such as cradling, scooping, passing, catching, shooting, dodging, and goalie skills--the fundamentals any lacrosse player must have! We practice these fundamentals through drills and skill-oriented games in a fast-paced and safe environment. Campers also learn offensive and defensive techniques, and positioning, in this camp. We keep the group small, with a maximum of eight campers and two coaches. Campers must bring a protective mask to camp, as well as a labeled water bottle (masks will only be required upon arrival, during breaks, and dismissal). Location: Community Playfields.

TRACK, FIELD & FITNESS CAMP
Grade 2-4 as of 2022-23 school year
Young athletes learn the fundamentals to improve and develop flexibility, proper stretching, body positioning, core-strength, balance, and cool-down techniques as they relate to exercising and the jumping, running and throwing skills involved in the sport of track and field. Participate in fitness games like hot lava, freeze game and relay races as well as sprints, long-distance walking, running, hurdles, long jump, and discus throw. Campers have a fun track and field meet on the last day of camp. Bring a labeled water bottle and face covering.

Join us on the beach this summer to develop volleyball skills, strategy, and technique! Your child will receive a solid foundation of volleyball skill through fun and active drills, as well as daily scrimmages. Each day, campers will have a designated swim time if water conditions allow.
