Spring Break Camp
Grade K-8
Based at the Community Recreation Center, we put the "amp" in Camp with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, group games, awesome field trips and more! Register for the entire week or individual days.

Special Interest Camps

[Chicago Loves Dance]
Cheer/Yoga Spring Break Camp
Age 5-12
Under the direction of Chicago Loves Dance instructors, students will practice yoga, learning poses and stretches for the first portion of class. The second half of class, we learn cheers as well as poms choreography. Students will learn 3-4 new cheers, work on form and add on to their poms dance routine. The last day of the class will be parent watch day where students will do a short performance.

Girls Multi-Sport Camp
Age 4-8
Keep active, make new friends and have fun playing in this camp just for girls! This camp allows girls to try new skills and achieve goals in an environment tailored just for them. Sports include soccer, kickball, softball, floor hockey, basketball, football and more. Campers should bring a labeled water bottle each day.

Total Sports Spring Break Camp
Age 4-8
This camp focuses on a variety of sports including flag football, baseball, kickball, soccer, capture the flag, and other group games. Each day, campers focus on skill development and fundamentals for each respective sport, followed by game play. Coaches ensure a fun and energetic atmosphere while promoting teamwork and good sportsmanship. Bring a labeled water bottle.

[ON-THE-GO SPORTS]
Non-Contact Football
Age 6-12
This high-energy non-contact football clinic teaches the fundamentals, including passing, receiving, blocking, and routes. Participants receive top-notch instruction from coaches who have played the sport on a collegiate or professional level. On-The-Go Sports is lead by former Northwestern star and Chicago Bear Chris Martin. Classes include scrimmages, and occasional guest speakers.

COACH ABE'S SOCCER
A great introduction to the game of soccer! Each player learns the first step of ball mastery and acquires the necessary building blocks for success in the future. We teach the following moves to each player: Stop and Go, Rollbacks, controlled dribbling, dancing on the ball, Beckenbaur and many more.

SPRING BREAK PEE WEE SPORTSTERS CAMP
Age 4-6
This outdoor sports game camp introduces kids to football, basketball, soccer, baseball, floor hockey, kickball, running games and much more. The emphasis will be on the development of teamwork and sportsmanship. Our goal is to teach boys and girls to enjoy playing for the sake of the sport itself. Bring a labeled water bottle.

SPRING BREAK YOUNG SPORTSTERS CAMP
Age 7-9
This outdoor sports game camp introduces kids to football, basketball, baseball, soccer, floor hockey, running games and much more. Sportsmanship and fun are stressed in this camp. Bring a labeled water bottle.

SPRING BREAK ARCHERY CAMP
Age 7-12
Learn the basics of using a recurve bow in a safe environment. Targets and blunt-tipped arrows will be used. A nationally recognized nine-step progression is taught. Both technique and games will be a part of this camp. Bows, arrows, and targets are provided. Bring a labeled water bottle.

SPRING BREAK YOUTH LACROSSE CAMP
Age 7-10
Come play lacrosse--the fastest game on two feet--with us! Players will learn various lacrosse techniques such as ball control, cradling, scooping, passing, catching, shooting, dodging, and goalie skills, and the fundamentals any lacrosse player must have! Drills and skill-oriented games in a fast-paced and safe environment will be used to teach these fundamentals. Offensive and defensive techniques and positioning will also be taught in this camp. Bring a labeled water bottle.

SPRING BREAK LIL SLUGGERS CAMP
Age 4-6
Get ready for the upcoming t-ball season! In this camp, boys and girls learn baseball fundamentals such as running the bases, throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting the ball off a tee. Exciting drills and games help children learn about teamwork and good sportsmanship, in an atmosphere where participation and fun are top priority. Bring a labeled water bottle and mitt.

Age 4-6
Play a sport known for speed and excitement! The focus in this camp is on developing the basic skills of the game such as cradling, scooping, passing, catching and defense as well as an emphasis on team concepts. Fun, skill development games will be played in a positive setting. Bring a labeled water bottle.
