Join Go Green Wilmette and the Wilmette Park District in the Gillson Park Bird Habitat for tree walks and native seed spreading. Many prairie plants spread their seeds by wind, and we can help them! Tree walks will begin on the hour and seed walks on the half hour. People of all ages can come to enjoy some nature-based activities, educational materials and fall treats, too. This year we have added leaf rubbing, tree trivia, a scavenger hunt and a Trees of Illinois leaf and acorn matching activity.
