Fire Department Open House

Saturday, October 7, 9:00 am – Noon

Fire Station #26, 1305 Lake Ave.

The Wilmette Fire Department invites all youngsters to bring their parents to the Fire Department Open House, where fire trucks, firefighting and paramedic equipment, special rescue equipment and more will be on display. Specially trained paramedics will be available to perform a “checkup” on your teddy bear so you can experience what it would be like to be a patient. There will be other activities for kids and parents alike, including several demonstrations such as vehicle extrication and specialized rescue.
