Parties, Rentals and Permits
The Wilmette Park District offers a variety of themed parties geared towards specific age groups and interests. Our parties are a great way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion for young family and friends of a similar age. The Wilmette Park District offers room rentals at several of our facilities. Rentals offer a variety of amenities depending on the location including kitchens, televisions, AV equipment, fireplaces, outdoor space, tables and chairs, rinks, courts and more. Take a look at our options below.

Facility, Outdoor & Commercial Use Permits
Please use the links below to download and fill out request forms for permits. Completed forms can be returned to any Wilmette Park District facility front desk, to the attention of the specific facility/park. Staff may follow up for proof of insurance if needed.

Outdoor Photography
We encourage visitors to enjoy our natural spaces and parks. The Wilmette Park District does not require a special use permit for outdoor photography.
Dog Beach & Trail-In Permits
Dog Beach Permits
- Harbor Dr. & Overlook Dr., Wilmette
Dog owners wishing to use our dog beach must purchase an annual permit.
SUP & Kayak Trail-in Permits
- Lake Ave. & Michigan Ave., Wilmette
Available for purchase by residents and non-residents wishing to launch their stand up paddleboard or kayak at Gillson Park.
