ALL-AGES Performer Bios:

  • Bopology – A musical tribute to the Rat-Pack and Swing era, Bopology blends their 50’s and 60’s style for park districts whose residents consist mostly of families and seniors. As a powerhouse entertainment package rather than a crooner with musicians, they bring to your event an alternative to rock n’ roll without being boring or stodgy. For example, to keep kids happy they distribute free stickers as “The Flintstones Theme” is played and songs like “Sing, Sing, Sing,” “In the Mood,” and “Jump, Jive and Wail” keep the adults entertained. With significant name-recognition as a top Chicago Swing Band, your audience will make a special point to attend the show.

  • Johnny Russler & the Beach Bum Band – Celebrating the beach, warm summer sun, and island fun, Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band are the ultimate party band. Playing plenty of Jimmy Buffett favorites, they also jam out to hits by Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Paul Simon, Dick Dale, Jerry Jeff Walker, and many others. Let your hair down, wiggle your toes in the sand and let Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band serenade you in the summer sunlight.

  • Kaleidoscope Eyes – Kaleidoscope Eyes is Chicago’s premiere acoustic Beatles tribute band. We pay homage to the band that’s the official soundtrack of generations of families. Come see and hear why audiences across Chicagoland are raving about this captivating, crowd-engaging band! There’s a reason why they’re Chicago’s best and most fun lovin’ acoustic Beatles tribute band! Find out more about our availability and ensure a great summer concert/festival lineup for your community!

  • The Disco Circus – Chicago-based disco/funk tribute band, The Disco Circus, creates a NEXT LEVEL nostalgic experience by combining the energy and excitement of a 3-ring circus with the grooviest music from the 1970’s!

The Disco Circus features three dedicated lead vocalists, two female and one male, who act as the ringleaders for all of the festivities. Behind them, drums, bass, guitar, and percussion form the foundation of the tightest and funkiest band in all the land…not to mention the band’s expanded lineup, which includes horns!

If you’re longing for the days of platform shoes, bell bottoms, sparkles galore and music that gets your booty groovin’…then put on some polyester and your boogie shoes and let The Disco Circus take you directly to Funkytown!

KID’S SHOWS Performer Bios:

  • Miss Jamie’s Farm – Perfect for pre-schoolers on up through age 8, Miss Jamie and her puppet friends from the farm take the audience on a magical barnyard adventure in a sing-along, dance-along show that’s fun for kids and grownups alike.

The interactive performance features well-known farm songs as well as original tunes like “Happy Chickens Lay Yummy Eggs” and “Keepin’ it Pesticide Free,” and teaches healthy eating and responsible farming in a fun way that leaves everyone stompin’ their boots and hollerin’ for more.

Sing, dance, laugh and learn with Miss Jamie and her farmyard friends!

  • Scribble Monster – With songs recognized by National Public Radio, the Parent’s Choice Awards, and Parenting Magazine, ScribbleMonster’s approach to music, learning, and play has earned them spots on television and radio (including five #1 hit songs on Sirius/XM’s Kids Place Live; producer, writer, and featured performer on the PBS show Wimee’s Words; and creator and host of The ScribbleShow and ScribbleMonster’s Field Trip Radio on satellite radio), as well as thousands of performances at libraries, schools, and other special events. ScribbleMonster’s performance encourages audience participation and opportunities for creative expression.

  • Istvan & His Imaginary Band – When Istvan starts rocking kids can’t help but join in, sometimes on stage, while their moms and dads cheer them on and enjoy the original tunes, an irresistible mix of interactive rock ‘n’ roll, country, pop punk and sing-alongs that get heads bobbing.

A longtime member of Chicago’s alternative music scene, Istvan started penning children’s tunes after the birth of his daughter, Evie — who often accompanies him on stage.

“When my daughter was 2, she loved puppets,” says Istvan. “While we played, she would always demand that I ‘talk ’em!’ One day I ran out of things to say, so I had a frog puppet pluck the E string of my guitar and sing what became my first children’s song. Before I knew it I had a bunch.”

In person, Istvan brings those songs to life and always tries to involve the crowd, whether it’s playing freeze dance mid song, inviting them up to sing along or having them ring out the rhythm on a tambourine.

When it comes to the band there is nothing imaginary about its possibilities. No matter what size the venue or gathering, Istvan tailors the group to almost any situation or show. From strumming solo on the acoustic guitar to dynamic duos and trios or to the full five-piece rocking band. It’s not surprising why Istvan & His Imaginary Band have become kid and family music favorites.

See and hear what the fuss is about!
