Camp Friend Requests
Camp is a great opportunity to make new friends! We do not accept requests to place your child’s friend in the same group as your child. There are ample opportunities for each child to be with their friends, old and new, during the camp day, even if they are not in the same group. Our camp groups are designed for the safety of all children, and are based on camper-to-staff supervision ratios. Thank you for understanding.
Coordinating with the D39 Summer Enrichment Program
If your child will be in the Wilmette School District 39 Summer Enrichment Program, they can spend their afternoons at a Wilmette Park District camp!
Only the following camps are available to Summer Enrichment students in the afternoons:
- Transportation
- Save 10%
If your camper is attending Summer Enrichment through the Third Period, you are eligible for a 10% discount on the camps listed above. Please contact your camp supervisor for the discounted camp fee.
All About Enrolling
Register for the grade your child will enter in fall '24, or age your child will be on the first day of camp
OUR NEW CAMP REGISTRATION DATES for Wilmette residents are 9 am on Saturday, February 24. Registration for non-residents begins at 9 am on Saturday, March 2. A $300 deposit per camp session is required at the time of registration. The balance will be auto-debited from your checking account or credit card on May 10. Camp fees under $300 must be paid in full at the time of registration. You may register online, via fax or mail, or in person.
Auto-Debit for Camp Balances
Camp fee balances are collected via auto-debit on May 10, the deadline for camp fees to be paid in full. Camp balances can be auto-debited from either your checking account or your credit card. When you register for a camp, we will request the appropriate information to process the May 10 auto-debit. Camp fees under $300 must be paid in full at the time of registration, so no auto-debit information is required for those camps.
Camp Refund Policy
- We will refund 100% of the fee paid any time prior to two weeks before the start of a session.
- Under two weeks before a program’s start date, and still before the session begins, we will refund your fee paid, less a 25% administrative fee.
- After the start of a session, a prorated refund for any full weeks remaining will be issued, less a 25% administrative fee.
This policy is strictly enforced to allow completion of camp preparations, ranging from staff hiring, camper groupings and supply purchasing to informational mailings. Your understanding is deeply appreciated.
