Wilmette Park District Board of Park Commissioners seeks an experienced, forward-thinking, and community-focused leader as its next Executive Director. This role is a chance to lead a park district known for high-quality recreational opportunities, facilities, and open spaces in Wilmette, Illinois. The successful candidate will be approachable, engage with the community, build positive relationships with board members, taxing bodies, Park District employees, and participate in District and community events.

The Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) facilitates year-round recreation programs and services for children, teens, and adults with disabilities who live in 13 northern suburban communities, including Wilmette. NSSRA is similar to a park district; however, they only serve residents with disabilities. If you are interested in helping others and working with a great team, you might be an excellent fit for NSSRA!
