General Recreation Classes & Workshops
Registration for Winter programs begins at 10 am:
- December 9 for residents
- December 16 for non-residents
It’s the “etc.” of recreation programming, full of unique and exciting stuff for both children and adults.
- One-Day Workshops
- Special Events
- STEM Classes
- Yoga and Other Movement Programs
- Specialized Training (such as Self-Defense or Dog Obedience)
- Other Enriching Programs (including Chess, Cooking, Magic Workshops, Music for Tots & Spanish)
All General Recreation classes meet at the Community Recreation Center unless otherwise noted.

After-School Enrichment is part of General Recreation!
After-School Enrichment (formerly known as After-School Clubs) offers a wide variety of one-hour enrichment “clubs,” ranging from sports to science to music and much more! Families can choose to register for any program available to students enrolled at the host District 39 school. After-School Enrichment is not guaranteed to run unless programs meet their minimum registration requirement. Minimum requirements vary for each program. *After-School Enrichment is not a childcare program.
