Fall Family Festival

• Gillson Park – Lake Ave. & Michigan Ave.

Join Go Green Wilmette and the Wilmette Park District for the Family Fall Festival in the Gillson Bird Habitat. Autumn is the time when the native plants in the habitat have their seeds ready to spread. We will give them a helping hand by collecting plant seeds and spreading them in areas of the habitat where we need more plants. While you give the plants a helping hand, join us for nature based crafts, fall themed snacks and tree walks. Enjoy the fall weather, take in the view of Lake Michigan from the habitat’s ridgetop location and have fun with native plants!

The event will be held at the Bird Habitat at Gillson Park – at the corner of Lake Ave and Michigan Ave.
