FREE EVENT for all ages

Touch A Truck puts kids in the driver’s seat! Join the Wilmette Park District, Village of Wilmette and more during this FREE and unique opportunity to explore trucks of all types all in one place. Inspect the equipment, meet the men and women who operate the big rigs and learn how they help us in our community. Attendees, both young and young at heart are allowed to touch, climb, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment.
This event takes place in the parking lot of Centennial Recreation Center (2300 Old Glenview Road).

Sensory Friendly Start: 10-10:20 am
Please do not blow horns or honk the vehicles for the first 20 minutes of Touch A Truck to allow our noise-sensitive participants time to enjoy the event.
Bring A Truck!
Does your company or group have a truck you’d like to bring for participants to explore at this year’s Touch A Truck? We’re recruiting volunteer trucks to join the event and make it even bigger! Complete our Touch A Truck Participant Form and send it to Rosie Aliperta at raliperta@wilpark.org.
