Touch a Truck puts kids in the driver’s seat! Join the Wilmette Park District, Village of Wilmette, US Coast Guard and more during this FREE and unique opportunity to explore trucks of all types all in one place. Inspect the equipment, meet the men and women who operate the big rigs and learn how they help us in our community. Attendees, both young and young at heart are allowed to touch, climb, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment.
***NEW – our event will begin with 20 minutes of sensory-friendly time. We ask visitors not to blow horns or honk the vehicles so that noise-sensitive visitors can enjoy the event.***
This event takes place in the parking lot of Centennial Recreation Center (2300 Old Glenview Road).
