Outdoor Pool Season Scheduled to Conclude on Labor Day
To help patrons plan for the remainder of the summer, Wilmette Park District is announcing the outdoor pool season is scheduled to conclude on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. The final scheduled day of the outdoor pool season for both public and lap swimming at Centennial Family Aquatic Center.

Celebrate the last day of the season at the Quack ‘N Splash: Duck Derby on 9/7! Purchase your duckies by 9/5 to complete for prizes and support the Wilmette Park District Scholarship Fund. More details on our EVENT PAGE.

Although lap swimming has often continued past Labor Day, several important maintenance projects and seasonal preparations are scheduled to begin immediately after the pool season ends. Completing this work on schedule will help prepare the facility for future improvements and the 2027 summer season.

Planned Post-Season Work Includes:

• Water piping maintenance and repairs
• Pool shell maintenance
• Slide construction work
• Winterization of the outdoor aquatic facility and mechanical systems
