Age 3-5
Age 4 – Grade 2
and create, Camp Innovation is their spot for STEM and summertime fun. We will explore a wide variety of science and math-based themes, including explosions, slimes, design challenges and more. Campers will also experience beach days and field trips, alternating weekly, with additional onsite visitors throughout the summer to add extra fun to this camp with a STEM twist!
Grade 1-3, Grade 4-8
Participants in this on-the-court camp will learn various drills, skills and how to properly play the game of basketball. We’ll focus on how to improve footwork, dribbling, passing and shooting with fun and exciting drills and activities.
Grade 1-4, Grade 5-9
Dancers of all levels will partake in daily technique classes that focus on alignment, flexibility, coordination, confidence, strength, and self-expression in major dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and some surprise genres! Our instructors will teach original choreography as well as guide dancers to create their own dances, culminating in full-stage performances for family and friends at the end of each 3-week session! No experience necessary– just a love of movement, music, and rhythm! We’ll also venture off-site to visit Centennial Family Aquatic Center and attend a professional performance or unique workshop field trip! Dancers are welcome to sign up for 1, 2, or all 3 sessions as choreography and field trip will differ.
Grade 2-8
We’ll promote self-confidence as students learn how to use polymer clay to create handmade pendants, earrings, necklaces, and more! Students will showcase their hard work during a live display for parents at the end of the week! The camp price includes all supplies and materials necessary for creating multiple handmade pieces. For those students who are looking to attend more than one week of camp, please note that each week will feature a different series of projects as well as new clay colors and designs to choose from.
Grade 3-8
We’ll explore Gillson Park while engaging in a wide variety of activities along our lakefront. Get ready to make life-long friends and memories as you swim, venture out on field trips, and are inspired by our “Thursday Thrill” events!
Grade 4-8
Must be able to demonstrate ability to swim 25 yards on first day of camp.
Beginner sailors learn basic sailing terms, knots, safety and how to rig a boat. On the water, students will start sailing sunfish and work their way up to catamarans.
Grade 4-8
Must be able to demonstrate ability to swim 25 yards on first day of camp.
Intermediate sailors get a review of the basics then move to more independent time on the vessels. We will also cover wind, currents and safety skills.
Grade 4-9
**We’ve opened a NEW AFTERNOON SECTION!**
Pinterest Camp has gotten a GLOW-UP! In this all-new 3-hour advanced maker’s crafting class, we’ll use sewing machines, Cricut cutters, heat transfer methods, fabric dyes, polymer clay, unique fiber arts, and more to hand-craft home decor, upcycle clothing, make jewelry, and personalize items such as Stanleys, candle holders, and much more! So crafty, sew creative!
Each week will end with a project intended for donation to a good cause, such as animal shelter blankets, preemie hats, and more, which campers can replicate at home to continue to give back to the community on their own. Sign up for as many weeks as your crafter desires – projects will not repeat.
NOTE: Students may use additional equipment including a heat press, oven, needles, and bladed tools, as well as common DIY chemicals such as citrus-based paint stripper, fabric dye, and epoxy resin under strict supervision. All personal protective equipment provided and required.
Grade 5-8

Get ready to dive into a world of aquatic fun! Experience the excitement of Aquatics Camp, nestled on the scenic shores of Lake Michigan at Gillson Park’s Swimming Beach. Explore the shore while stand-up paddleboarding, embark on thrilling banana boat rides, and swim in our beautiful lake. Discover the thrill of kayaking with guided tours along the coastline and set sail with our exhilarating sailing sessions! We will kick off your aquatic journey with a safety class ensuring you’re ready to navigate the waters safely.
Grade 6-8
Teen L.E.A.P. is an opportunity for campers to Lead and Explore through Adventure and Purpose this summer. Campers will develop their leadership skills through hands-on activities such as team challenges, ropes course, outdoor adventures, interactive and creative workshops as well as participating in Service Projects within our community. Teen L.E.A.P. camp includes trips to the pool, Gillson Beach, and one special activity day a week which may include a special guest or off-site trip. Each session offers different unique experiences.

Aloha! ¡Hola! Bonjour! Nĭ hăo! In this fun and social 2-hour stepping-stone to the full summer camp experience, preschool travelers will immerse themselves in a new culture each week through visual arts and crafts, music, dance, stories, native animals, language, and a variety of other activities. Past countries/regions visited have included Australia, China, the South Pacific, the East African grasslands, the Alaskan tundra, and many more… but the world is our oyster and we might go anywhere! Enroll for as many weeks as your camper desires – destinations will not repeat Campers should be able to attend independently and be fully toilet-trained. For a longer day, pair Little World Travelers with Preschool Camp Connect + Preschool Dance Camp/Tiny Tots.
