Philosophy
Philosophy
At BSR & ASR, we believe in fostering a positive and playful atmosphere. Children enjoy a balance of structured activities and free time where they make new friends, discover new passions and relax after a busy school day. Our program features a diverse range of activities, including art, sports, games, creative play and dedicated homework support.
Customizable Schedule
New, Customizable Schedule!
You know your schedule better than we do—with BSR & ASR, you can select the exact days your child will attend. Your registration and installment payments will reflect the chosen attendance days. Please note, to allow for proper coordination with our school district partners, we require that you choose a consistent schedule for your child’s attendance.
Is your child attending programs during ASR? Complete our Permission To Escort Form.
- Your selected schedule will remain in effect for the entire year, unless a schedule change request is submitted (due by the 25th of the previous month). Changes requests will take effect the following month.
- Requests to attend additional days are dependent upon the availability of the program(s).
- Select multiple ASR locations based on days of the week! If your child regularly attends an afternoon program at the Community Recreation Center, consider registering for ASR at the Community Recreation Center on that day in addition to their school location on alternate days.

Payments
At the time of registration, you may choose to pay in full immediately or join our Monthly Payment Plan, which auto-debits starting August 1.
If you elect our Monthly Payment Plan, there is no payment/deposit due upon registration. Your deposit for BSR &/or ASR will be auto-debited on August 1, and installment payments will be withdrawn on the first of the month for the next nine months, September-May.
BSR Deposits amount to $20 for each day of the week your child will attend ($100 for 5-day attendance).
ASR Deposits amount to $40 for each day of the week your child will attend ($200 for 5-day attendance).
- Monthly payments can be calculated by dividing your remaining program balance (total payment minus deposit amount) by nine.
Refund/Withdrawal/Changes
Refund/Withdrawal
Notice of withdrawal from BSR & ASR must be submitted to the Park District by the 25th of the month and will be effective the first day of the following month.
To make scheduling changes, complete your Change Request Form.
- In order for registration changes and drops to be effective on the first day of school, changes must be submitted no later than July 25, 2025.
- Dropping BSR &/or ASR from your child’s schedule will not change the monthly installment for the month in which the schedule change request was submitted. Billing changes will take effect on the first day of the month following the written notice, and the future monthly installments will be adjusted accordingly.
- Wilmette Park District will not deduct fees for missed days. Should you have an unusual circumstance arise regarding payment, please discuss this with the Recreation Supervisor of School Age programming.

- Each child’s profile through ePACT must be submitted prior to attending the program.
- ePact forms must be submitted by August 15 to begin at the start of the school year.
