Art, Dance, Music, Theater Programs and Workshops
Registration for spring+summer programs begins at 10 am:
- March 11 for residents
- March 18 for non-residents
About
The Center for the Arts at the Wilmette Park District offers a well-rounded curriculum including dance, music, theatre and art. Through classes, workshops and special events, the Center for the Arts provides ample opportunity for individuals to express ideas and emotions that cannot be communicated with language alone. The Center for the Arts is located in the Community Recreation Center at 3000 Glenview Road, Wilmette.
Introducing a new opportunity for Wilmette Children’s Theater alumni and rising 8th graders. Our Summer Theater Intensive production, Little Women, will be performed at the historic Wallace Bowl.
- Rehearsals: Tuesday/Thursday 4-6:30 pm and Saturdays 1-4 pm.Â
- Performances: July 25-28.Â

Wilmette Dance Alliance Information
In this program (which takes place from August through June) our Dance Alliance Members participate in 2 competitions a year, performs in the annual Nutcracker production and dance recitals, as well as various local performances throughout the year such as Six Flags and Schaumburg Boomers. Participants also attend outings and workshops all while having fun with dance!
