What Is This Initiative?
“Everybody Always” is Wilmette Park District’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Spearheaded by our Social Equity Committee, this initiative affirms our dedication to creating an inclusive community where every individual, regardless of background or identity, feels welcome and respected.
We believe that embracing diverse perspectives strengthens our programs, facilities and culture. From staff hiring to program development, our internal policies and practices are being aligned with socially equitable values to serve our community better.

Everybody Always: Our Ongoing Commitment
DECEMBER 2025: Everybody Always & Ordinance No. 25-O-10
Everybody is Always welcome at our Parks and Facilities, and we’re constantly working to pursue this initiative and expand its success. In this pursuit, our Park Board amended Chapter IV of the Conduct Ordinance and adopted Ordinance No. 2025-O-10 in December 2025, which prohibits the use of Park District property to conduct any federal civil immigration enforcement activities.
For a brief explanation of this amendment and to download a copy of the document, Click Here.
Help Uphold this Initiative: If you see anything you suspect to be federal civil immigration enforcement activities at Wilmette Park District Parks or Facilities, please call 911 and report what you see.
