Wilmette Park District Appoints Interim Executive Director

The Wilmette Park District Board of Park Commissioners announced today the appointment of Margaret Resnick as Interim Executive Director of Wilmette Park District. Resnick brings over 30 years of experience in parks and recreation management, having served as Executive Director for multiple park districts in Illinois and as Interim Executive Director for the Illinois Park & Recreation Association.

“The Board is delighted to welcome an Interim Executive Director with the wealth of experience Margaret brings,” said Park Board President Kara Kosloskus. “Her leadership will support our staff, oversee operations and ensure a smooth transition as we begin our search for the next Executive Director.”

Resnick’s tenure will help facilitate continuity of services as Steve Wilson prepares to leave the role on January 31. She will officially begin as Interim Executive Director on Monday, January 20, and serve until the conclusion of the national search for a permanent Executive Director.
