CRC UPDATE 2/20/26: Earlier today, a hoax call was received at the Community Recreation Center which prompted staff to immediately call 911. Wilmette Police Officers responded on site within a few minutes. Officers quickly identified the call as a hoax and notified us that this has been reoccurring around the North Shore, and in other nearby communities, with two other calls taking place nearby simultaneously. We are grateful for quick response and assessment from the Wilmette Police Department, and do not anticipate any additional information to develop.
